Although Farmers in Jalalaqsi district are engaged in Maize and Sorghum farming, A team of experts from SOADO have searched to finding alternative crops that can be cultivated in Jalalaqsi district in order to improve farmer’s income, which accrue more money than the maize and sorghum. After research team have tested Nerica rice which grown well in Jalalaqsi district, this was pilot trail and the research is still going on.
